Francis J. "Frank" Caruso, 86, of DuBois, PA., passed away at Christ the King Manor.
He was the son of Frank J. and Marrion E. (Carroll) Caruso, born March 1, 1939, in DuBois, PA.
Frank graduated in 1957 from St. Catherines High School. He attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA., Frank left college early, to pursue his true passion, serving his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard. He served his country, for over 20 years and attained the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. His military specialty was in gunnery instructions throughout his career.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish (St. Catherines of Siena), he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by a loving family; sisters, Mary Ann Cook of DuBois, Cathie (Larry) Gallagher of Brentwood, TN, a brother John (Janet) Caruso of DuBois, two nephews, Warren (Meg) Caruso and Michael (Gretchen) Caruso, a niece, Annette (Steve) Davis, two great-nieces, Gabrielle (Grant) Schirmer, Hanah Caruso, one great-nephew, Jonathan Keen.
He was proceeded by his parents and a brother Joseph Caruso.
Friends and family will have a time of viewing, on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Holy Spirit Parish Church from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Full military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the church.
Burial will take place in St. Catherines Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King Manor 1100 W. Long Ave. DuBois, PA or DuBois Central Catholic School 200 Central Christian Road DuBois, PA.
The Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium is entrusted with the arrangements.
