Frank Cusmano Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. - Sterling Heights on Nov. 4, 2024.
CUSMANO, Frank Anthony. Age 74. November 2, 2024.
Cherished husband of Janet. Beloved father of Todd (Rachel), Jodi and Jaime (Troy). Adored Papa of Caleb, Luke, Reagan, Ryann and Kensley. Dear brother of Nina (Pete) Braun. Loving son of the late Anthony and the late Wanda. Frank was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Frank was a Detroit Police Officer for 32 years and taught at LTU as a professor for 26 years. Frank was a man of faith, and his Catholic faith was very important to him.
Frank loved music. He played drums for his own band for many years and additionally enjoyed DJ'ing. Frank was unbeatable at trivia surrounding 50s and 60s music.
Frank lived for his family. He was a devoted husband, father but was especially proud to be a Papa to his grandkids. Frank loved spending his time with his grandkids, whether that be on the ice rink watching his grandsons play hockey or driving them around. Frank will be lovingly remembered for his generosity and love towards his family and friends.

Dear Janet, Todd, Jodi, Jaime and family,
Please know that I sincerely share your sorrow and hold you in prayer for God's consoling, strengthening grace and love. May our gracious God of life, embrace and welcome Frank to the fullness of the promise of everlasting life, incorruptible, beautiful and glorious as he receives the reward of his compassionate, creative, generous, faith-filled life and selfless faithfulness with his family and friends, and continues to love, cherish and guide us all in a deeper presence. Frank's caring, sincere love, generous self-giving, are blessings I will cherish always. Frank's welcoming acceptance of me and supportive encouragement and genuine friendship are treasured gifts that will remain in my heart always. God love you.
