Frank Fiumara

Frank Fiumara 98 years old, of Bedford Hills, NY entered heaven on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, at Northern Westchester Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born in Calabria, Italy on October 28, 1926, to the late Teresa and Fortunato Fiumara. He was a graduate of the Italian Institute of Architectural Design in Rome, Italy.
Frank met the love of his life, Rose and they were married in Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 13, 1954. They shared a beautiful marriage and everyone who met his family commented on the love that was exhibited. Rose predeceased Frank in 2021.
Frank was a master cabinet maker and residential home builder. He co-founded The Walmara Construction Company in Bedford Hills. He received numerous awards for the homes he built and his work was featured in Architectural Digest on two occasions. He formed wonderful relationships with his clients.
Frank was a past president of the Katonah Rotary Club. He was known for his excellent cooking skills at various fundraising events.
Frank loved both playing and watching golf. He was an avid reader. With his art skills he created many beautiful paintings. He also built Grandfather clocks and timeless furniture for his family after he retired. Frank enjoyed traveling to Italy to visit his family. He also loved vacationing in Maine and San Diego, California. He was a graceful and talented dancer.
Frank's greatest love was his family, friends and strong faith. He enjoyed sharing his life story with everyone. He always put the care and comfort of others first. He was such an inspirational role model and hero to us. He taught us the meaning of determination and instilled in us to always strive for excellence in everything we do.
Frank is the beloved husband of Rose and loving father of Frank (Mindy) and Marisa (Marcell) of Bedford Hills. He is also the devoted grandfather of Douglas (Kelley), Diana, Jaime (James) and four great grandchildren, John, Joseph, Quentin and Zac. Frank is the brother of Rosa, Iolanda (Enrico), Maria (Leo) and late brothers, Joseph and Nicola. He is the brother-in-law of Marian Angel (Diego) and Carol. He also leaves behind countless beloved nieces and nephews who shared so many wonderful times with him.
The family will receive friends on January 20th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 21st at 11:00 am at St. Mary Of The Assumption Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, NY 10536. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Lexington Avenue, Mt. Kisco, NY 10549.
