< Frank W. Hatcher, 83, of Peru passed away at 6:46 P.M., Monday, March 17, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Terre Haute, IN on July 24, 1941, the son of William and Doris (Vaughn) Hatcher. Frank married Faith Neddo on December 31, 1983 and she survives. Frank was a 1960 graduate of Schulte High School in Terre Haute and was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Kokomo. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and going to auctions. You could always find Frank attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren. Frank was a member of the American Dairy Goat Association, was active in goat shows, and an ardent attendee of the State and County Fairs. He enjoyed raising goats, horses, ponies, rabbits and chickens. To him vacations were best spent showing goats, especially traveling to the National show while the children were young. Surviving in addition to his wife, Faith, are his children Chris (Mike) Strain of Terre Haute, Karen (David) Sullivan of Terre Haute, P.J. (Brittanie) Hatcher of Bunker Hill, Phil (Mary) Hatcher of Kokomo and Frank (Jill) Hatcher, Jr. of Noblesville; grandchildren Alana (Ryan) Wilson, Collin Hatcher, Adam (Michelle) Hatcher, Brandt Hatcher, Sam (Hope) Sullivan, Mikaila Sullivan, Hattie Hatcher, Haisley Hatcher, Hank Hatcher, Huxley Hatcher, Claire Hatcher, Kate Hatcher, Callie Hatcher, Brenton Touloukian and Alejandra Mendoza; great-grandchildren Jackson Wilson and Kendal Wilson and siblings Dolores, Diane, Rosemary and Cecilia. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a son Bob Hatcher, a daughter Rachel Hatcher; two brothers Bill and Joseph and three sisters Margaret, Catherine and Mary. A service celebrating the life of Frank W. Hatcher will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, prior to the service at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. There will be a visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, prior to the Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial that will be held at 11:00 A.M, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar St., Terre Haute with Rev. Elmer Dula officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M, Thursday at Calvary Cemetery, Terre Haute. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to Miami County 4-H. Thanks to Guardian Angel for their comforting care the past 8 months.
