Frank Albert Morgan passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2024, in Sandy, Utah after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Frank was born on July 2, 1941, in Boise, Idaho to Albert Irvin Morgan and Tella Manning. He was the youngest of three children. His family moved to Spokane, Washington when he was 1 year old. He had a very happy childhood filled with music, the outdoors, family, and friends. He graduated from West Valley High School in 1959 where he sang in a men's quartet and ran track. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his father was the first Stake President in Spokane. As such, his family was able to meet and host many church leaders including prophets and apostles. These were special memories for him.

After high school he attended Brigham Young University before serving a full-time mission in the California Mission. At BYU, he met and fell in love with Sharron Jolyne Rowe. They married on August 18, 1964, in the Salt Lake Temple. He later attended dental school at the University of Washington and graduated in 1969. Following dental school, he enlisted in the United States Army Dental Corps and served for 2 years at Fort Jackson in South Carolina.

Frank returned home to the Spokane Valley with his growing family in 1971, where he opened and operated his own private dental practice for 36 years. Not only was he a respected general dentist but he also became very accomplished in forensic dentistry. He worked closely with Spokane County Law Enforcement and the Spokane Medical Examiner as a consultant. He also served as President of the American Society of Forensic Odontology. He was honored to participate with the Federal DMORT Team (Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team) in New York City after 9/11. He also spent some time teaching at the Dental Hygiene School at Eastern Washington University.

He loved the Pacific Northwest and loved being at the lake, whether it was Pend Oreille Lake as a child or Coeur d' Alene Lake, Priest Lake, or Hayden Lake with his family later in life. He loved our lake place on Hayden Lake where he spent time boating and teaching his children to water ski.

Frank was an accomplished musician. He played the piano and organ from the time he was a child and had an amazing ear for music. He could play anything on the piano without music and in any key. He had a beautiful voice and loved singing in choirs. He felt the spirit very easily through music, often bringing him to tears.

He was a huge sports fan and loved watching a variety of sports, especially basketball. He would attend the high school state basketball tournament in Seattle and loved filling in the brackets. He was a tried-and-true Gonzaga basketball fan and loved BYU sports.

His life was one of service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many capacities including bishop, seminary teacher, high councilman, and ward organist. After his retirement, he served a mission with his wife in the Church and Family History Mission at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had a love for the temple and was overjoyed when the Spokane Temple was announced. He spent many years working in the temple as office director, shift coordinator, and ordinance worker.

He was calm, funny, smart, witty, dedicated, and the peacemaker of our family.

He is survived by his wife, Sharron Morgan; his children, Michael Morgan (Jennifer), Melanie Morgan, Kelly Morgan (Stephanie), Kristin Briggs (Robert); his sister, Beverly Wiser; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
