Frank Carl-Richard "Butch" Pittelkow, Jr., age 52, passed away early Friday morning, September 3, 2021 at Beacon Springs-West in Berrien Springs, after battling Huntington's Disease for several years.

The son of Nancy Ann (Froman) & Frank Carl-Richard Pittelkow, Sr., he was born on November 8, 1968 in Grand Rapids.

Butch loved watching football, animals, and spending time with his sister… especially their regular "lunch dates".

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Paula Pittelkow. Surviving are his sister, April Bassler & Felix Valdes of Hamilton; a brother, Paul & Amber Coleman of Grand Rapids; eight nieces and nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; many cousins; his family of caregivers at Beacon Springs; and his faithful guardian, Gina Boyd.

I am very sorry for your loss. I was one of Frank's care givers at Beacon Springs West. Frank was a great guy. I remember playing Uno with him. Frank and I would pretend like we would write his ono on one up for silly things like saying they were picking on Frank when they really weren't, but we would all laugh about it. RIP buddy. You will be missed, but not forgotten.
