Frank J. Renda, 96, entered into rest Saturday May 7, 2022 at the home of his son. He was the husband of the late Concetta J. (Randisi) Renda.
A viewing will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church 2935 Kingston Rd. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. James Menkhus OFM Cap as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Full military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard, at the church, following the mass. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Renda was born August 4, 1925 in Lenola, NJ, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Terrasi) Renda. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and had been a self-employed barber for over 60 years. He served in the US Marine Corps during WW II, and was a member of the Marine Corps League.
Frank is survived by his children Joseph M. Renda and his wife Victoria, MaryJo C. Melato; grandchildren Christina Fogle (Kirby), Ann Agapis (Nick), Constance Viglietti (Anthony), Rosalyn Dursunian (Marc), and Joseph Renda (John); great-grandchildren Isabella, Lia, Steven, Peter, Maia, Hudson, Celine and Maxine; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister Christopher Renda, and Josephine Rizzuto.
Memorial contributions may be made to Turning Point Counseling and Advocacy Center 15 Wyntre Brooke Drive, York, PA 17403.
