"It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son and friend. Frank B. Roe passed away at home after a valiant battle with cancer. He was taken from us far too soon but leaves part of himself in each of us.
Frank married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Earlene Nagengast and began to build their beautiful family together. Their children, Brady and Michael DeVries, Andrew and Mikaela Roe, Courtney Roe and Saige Roe. Frank was blessed with his cherished grandchildren Reagan and Jett DeVries. Son of Richard and Joan Roe, brother to Richard Roe and Joanne Ives and uncle to many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Frank was a respected builder in the area, a true master of his craft. He began his company, R. Roe and Sons, alongside his father at the age of 18 and grew his business throughout the remainder of his life. To many of his customers his work ethic, honesty and attention to detail were some things that set him apart and resulted in lifelong friendships.
Frank loved to work but he would tell you his greatest accomplishment was his family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, coaching many of their baseball, softball and soccer teams. Any spare moment he had was spent making memories with them. He always looked forward to his summer trips to the beach surrounded by his family and close friends.
Frank was a true gentleman, our go to guy. He was a loyal man who led with kindness, compassion and always wore a smile upon his face. He will forever be missed but his love, loyalty and good nature will live on eternally through his family.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11am at St. Paul's RC Church, 2800 Rte 17K in Bullville, New York."
Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 845-343-6309.
