He was born October 11, 1945 in Woodville, Mississippi, to Lyle and Edith (Bennett) Sims.
Frank was a plumbing contractor and master plumber for 40-plus years. He worked for Local Union 198 and owned/operated Sims Plumbing Company.
He enjoyed collecting antiques.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, Kristen Sims Muirhead (Joseph), Kelly Sims Clayton (Mark), Katherine Sims Cross (Pat), and Bennett Sims (Liz); and grandchildren, Jack Muirhead (Emma), Henry Clayton, and Katie Clayton.
