Frank Edward Spaid

Frank Edward Spaid, 76, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, surrounded by his wife and kids. Born on May 27, 1949, in Richlands, Virginia to Martin and Emily Spaid, both of whom proceeded him in death.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend – known for his steady guidance, generous heart and a smile that filled the room.
Frank was a devout Christian with unwavering faith and deep love for his family, friends and church. He spent many years working with the youth at The Worship Center where he was a member for many years. The last few years he has been the Associate Pastor at Tallwood Chapel as well as a loyal and hardworking employee of Strike Force Traffic Control.
A man of integrity and humility, Frank's presence brought warmth, reassurance and comfort to all who knew him. He touched countless lives and left a lasting mark on anyone he met. Frank will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
He leaves behind his wife of 52 years Nancy also known as his Honey Dew, his son Ed or Eddie as he called him (Shannon), his daughter Lori Bell and his grandson Ashton. Also, his sister Violet Hoover, brothers Steve (Cherie) and Lawrence (Sherry) Spaid and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. He was proceeded in death by his siblings Glenn, Russel, Mary, Brenda and Lloyd.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis.
