Frank Walker, 91, of Grandfield, OK passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Grandfield Memorial Cemetery with Jerry Walker, officiant.
Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
Services are under the direction of Gray Funeral Home in Grandfield.
Frank was born March 4, 1933 to James Clint and Pearl (Hunter) Walker in Ardmore, OK. He grew up in Grandfield and attended Grandfield High School. Frank and Betty Lou (Scott) Walker were married December 26, 1953 in Bastrop, TX. He was a member of the Grandfield First United Methodist Church. Frank worked in road construction, the food industry for Boeing, custom combining, and he owned Walker's Cafe. He loved his family dearly, and he loved family reunions and reminiscing. Frank also enjoyed his pet cattle.
Frank is survived by his wife, Betty Walker, of the home; his son Jeff and his wife, April, of Oklahoma City, OK; his brothers, Jerry Walker of Lone Grove, OK and Danny Walker and his wife, Karen, of Joshua, TX; his sister, Dean Carroll of Burkburnett, TX; his grandchildren, Shane Snowhill, Dallas Walker, Mason Snowhill, and Luke Walker; and his great grandchildren, Arora, Daniel, Bren, and Lily.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Pearl Walker; his daughter, Brenda Snowhill; his brothers, James Walker and Bobby Walker; and his sisters, Mary Shull, Aline Story, and Joyce Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grandfield First United Methodist Church, Grandfield, OK 73546.
