Frank Wallace Jr. passed away October 16, 2024, from advanced stage four lung cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Frank was born June 29, 1954, in Ogden, Utah to Frank Wallace Sr. and Gertrude Marie Nelson. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1972. Frank was a star player for the BL Scots in basketball and baseball and played many other sports. Frank enjoyed camping and playing horseshoes with his family and friends on La Plata Ranch. He worked for 24 years doing floor coverings for Weber School District and was looking forward to retiring in July. He loved hunting, fishing and being outside with his loved ones. Frank was an honorable friend, a loving husband and accepting of everyone he met.
Frank is survived by his wife, Teena Daniel Wallace; daughter, Kelly Wallace Bayliss and family; stepson, Luke DeSpain and family; sister, Susan Richardson and family; and his beloved dog, Cookie. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. A luncheon will follow.
The Family would like to thank the staff and hospice care at McKay Dee Hospital and everyone that showed support during his final days.
