Franklin Eugene Conner

Franklin E. Conner, 78, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Lakin Hospital, West Columbia, WV. He was born on July 27, 1946 in Moundsville, son of the late Paul Pershing and Wilma (Bonnette) Conner. Franklin enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, demolition derbies and going to auctions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Paul Conner Jr. and Lawrence "Bud" Conner. He is survived by his four children, Beverly Conner of Sistersville, WV, Carla (Joseph) Cronin of New Martinsville, WV, Franklin "Andy" (Diane) Conner of Harrisville, WV and Frederick "Allen" (Crystal) Conner of Holly Ridge, NC, two sisters, Dolly (Bill) Foster of Moundsville and Tammy White of Wheeling, WV, mother of his children, Shirley Conner of Sistersville, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1pm until time of service at 3pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, with Pastor Eric Vincent officiating.
