Franklin Goff Obituary
He was born on April 14, 1941, in Campbell County, a son of the late John Goff and Edith Keesee Goff. He was a supervisor at Archer Creek and a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Franklin P. Goff, Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Gladys and Ron Simmons and his wife, Theresa, of Lynchburg; one daughter, Teresa Osbourne and her husband, Levi, of Gretna; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Simmons; one daughter, Susan Osbourne; five brothers, and one sister.
The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the staff at Forest Health & Rehab for the excellent care, love, and times of laughter they provided Frank over these last few months.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Cumbie Memorial Cemetery in Rustburg by Pastor Gabrielle Gerling with military honors by American Legion Altavista Memorial Post 36 and Gretna Post 232.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Finch & Finch Funeral and Cremation Service, Gladys.
