With deep sorrow and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Franklyn James Eighmey, a cherished son, a dedicated father, and a proud veteran. Born on June 10, 1962, in Monroe, he was the son of Neil and Scarlett (Knapp) Eighmey. Franklyn's life journey was one marked by hard work, loyalty, and the simple joys of life.

Frank completed his education as a high school graduate before embarking on a meaningful career in production for the Ford Motor Company. His commitment to excellence in his work was evident in every task he undertook, and he found great satisfaction in being part of a team that helped build some of America’s most iconic vehicles.

His service in the Army was a source of immense pride for him, reflecting his deep sense of duty and love for his country. This experience shaped Frank into the man many knew—disciplined, dependable, and honorable.

Beyond his professional and military achievements, Frank was a man who treasured his leisure time. He was an enthusiastic billiards player, often found engaging friends in spirited games, sharing laughter and camaraderie. An avid fisherman, he found peace and fulfillment on the water, where he could connect with nature and enjoy moments of quiet reflection. Durring the summer and fall months Frank could always be found enjoying his favorite pass time, Tigers Baseball.

Frank's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is lovingly survived by his son, Franklin Stockard, who carried forward the legacy of kindness and strength instilled in him. His mother, Scarlett (Kenny) Boylan, remains a pillar of support and fond memories. Together, they remember Frank's warmth, humor, and the steadfast love he showed throughout his life. He is also survived by a step-brother Scott (Bonnie) Boylan.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Neil Eighmey, whose memory he held dear.

The loss of Frank leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his spirit endures in the stories he shared, the lives he touched, and the deep love he gave so freely. We honor and celebrate his life, remembering a man who lived with integrity, passion, and an open heart. May he rest in peace, forever held in the embrace of those who loved him dearly.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes-Allore Chapel.
