Frances (Fraxedes) Bautista Vallejos, 96 years young, of
Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday October 2nd, 2025 surrounded by family. Her mind was quick and sharp, even up to her very last moments.

Frances graduated from Sinait National High School, then went on to College at Illocos Norte Normal College in Loag, earning a degree in Education.
Frances married Ariston Yabes Vallejos on November 8, 1954 in their hometown of Sinait. They traveled together by ship to the United States in 1955 and settled, then purchased properties in Klamath Falls.
Frances was a schoolteacher in the Philippines, and later raised her family of 5 children in Klamath Falls. She then went to Nursing School and graduated in the top of her class with a BS in Nursing from OTI in 1977. She worked as a RN in Klamath Falls and retired from Lakeview hospital. Shortly after retirement she founded a private assisted living facility in Klamath Falls. She was also a real estate agent and owned many properties in Klamath, Lakeview, and California City. She often sent her paychecks, boxes of clothing and books back to the village she was born in.
She especially loved spending time with her family, cooking traditional Filipino meals with fresh garden vegetables. Guest were always welcome at her dinner table. "Come and eat", you would hear her say! She was always the best dressed person in the room. Her favorite hobby was doing yard work, landscaping and tending to the flowers, fruit trees and vegetables in her organic garden. She especially loved the many koi fish in the pond that she and her husband built in their backyard. At one point, they even built a chicken coop and raised chickens to share with friends. Another favorite pastime was dressing up for trips to Kla-mo-ya Casino spending time with her special companions on Mondays. She often shared her winnings with friends that were with her.
Frances is survived by her children Marilyn (Bobby), John, Ben, Tony, Francie and her grandchildren Ariston (Mai Li), Evan, and Vaughn (Shelby) Vallejos.
Known as "Auntie Pracing" to her family in the homeland, she leaves numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews behind. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
