Mr. Fred Allison Baggett age 50 of Lebanon passed away unexpectedly January 26, 2026, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital. He was born in Davidson County, TN, July 17, 1975, the son of Dora Alice Mayberry and the late Vernon Edward Baggett. He was a1993 graduate of Glencliff High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After graduation from college, he enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corp serving eight years. He began his working career with FedEx and then later Dell Logistics and then finally Ceva Logistics. He was warehouse manager for over twenty years. He enjoyed attending Journey Church in Lebanon. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and was proud of his military service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Edward Baggett.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Jeffrey, who he married October 17, 2025; two children: Allison Baggett (Katie Wilhite), Jackson Baggett (Sheila Smotherman); mother, Dora Mayberry Marcrum; sister, Jackie (Chris) Gentry; nieces and nephew: Hannah, Caitlyn, Emily, and Ethan Gentry; aunt, Brenda Fentress; uncle, Randy Michael (Jennifer) Baggett; several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Bro. Robert Smiley Jr officiating. Military honors will be provided by the U. S. Marine Honor Guard. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Nashville. Active pallbearers: Steve Jerigan, Dewayne Rader, Nickey Baggett, Chris Gentry, William Jeffery, Jackson Baggett. Honorary Pallbearer: Austin Joe Smiley. Visitation Thursday 3-6 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
