It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Robert Lee Goodall (Bob), 73, of Hendersonville, TN passed away suddenly on November 1, 2025.
Bob was born on August 14th, 1952 to Peggy and Jack Goodall in Smyrna, TN. He graduated from Glencliff High School in 1970 and briefly attended Belmont University where he played baseball while working with his first cousin, Dr. George Goodall, at the Goodall Clinic in Smyrna.
He began a career in banking with Home Federal as a loan officer and worked his way up through several banking institutions over the years where his career led him to SVP, Senior Lending Officer of Home First Bank in Smyrna before he passed. During these years, he graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN and was a member of the Nashville Homebuilders Association.
Bob was married to Tara Goodall for 24 years and his family meant more to him than anything in the world. He was an avid University of Tennessee and Nashville Predators fan. He loved to play golf and had a heart of gold for all animals. He valued, respected and loved his own relationship with his Lord Savior. And he gave thanks and gratitude for his family, friends, and co-workers on a daily basis.
Bob was predeceased by his brother, Phillip Goodall, his father, Jack Goodall, his grandmother, Callie Mae Lee, his grandfather, Preston Lee, and his son, Isaac Hixson.
