Sheila Jane Willis

Age 74 of Franklin, TN. Sheila was born on November 3, 1951, in Nashville, Tennessee and passed to her Heavenly home on December 22, 2025, at NHC Franklin.

She was born Sheila Jane Bateman to parents, Mildred Bogart Holt and Andrew Clayton Bateman. She was an only child. She graduated from Glencliff High School, class of 1969. After high school, she attended MTSU and Belmont colleges. She worked at Grimes Realty for decades before working for Dr. Debra Doyle and Cool Springs Eye Care as an insurance specialist before retirement.

Sheila enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, painting ceramics, making crafts, watching sports, gardening, and reading.

Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Clayton Bateman and Mildred Bogart Holt Bateman; father-in-law, J.W. Willis; mother-in-law, Betty Bennett Willis Page; special cousin, Patricia Miller Nelson, and many close cousins on the Holt/Miller side of her family.

Bo and Sheila were high school sweethearts and have been married for 53 years

Survived by husband, Marshall "Bo" Stanley Willis; daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Harmon, Karen (Matthew) Thomas, and Meredith Willis; grandchildren, Andrew Vandervort, David Vandervort, Addison Thomas, Virginia "Gracie" Walsh, and Cooper Thomas.

Sheila's final wishes were to be cremated with no services. A celebration of life service may take place at a later date.
