Fred C. Doerflein III (74) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. He was born in Newark, New Jersey on February 18, 1950 to Veronica and Fred Doerflein.
Fred graduated from Union High School, Union, New Jersey in 1968. He served in the US Army National Guard from 1969 to 1975.
Fred had an amazing career with Snap On Tools for 28 years achieving countless awards and made many lifetime friends.
Fred loved all music, particularly oldies, his antique cars and slot car racing. He loved riding his motorcycle, especially with his two sons. Fred had a terrific sense of humor, was always happy and very charming. The most important thing in the world to Fred was family and love.
Fred is predeceased by his parents Veronica and Fred Doerflein Jr., his step mother Eileen Doerflein., Sister Gail O'Neill and Brother Michael Doerflein.
Fred is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Rosalie. Two sons and daughter in laws, Fred and Laura Doerflein and Paul and Mykila Doerflein. Grandson Paul Doerflein Jr. Brother and sister in law Richard and Phyllis Gaynor. Cousins William Knapp and Kenneth Mullaney. Joanne Doerflein, mother of Fred and Paul Doerflein. Many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 7 from 3 to 6 pm at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, 1 North Causeway, New Smyna Beach, FL.
A Catholic burial mass will be held Wedensday, January 8 at 11 am. at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, Fl.
In lieu us flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
