Fred Nowicki Obituary
Mr. Nowicki was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he worked on the first mainframe computers that were developed. He continued his career by working as a computer technician and then for the family business, Morning Song Gardens. He is lovingly known by his friends and family as a loyal, hardworking, and compassionate person. Fred loved woodworking, exploring the Rockies, hiking in the Adirondack Mountains, camping at Fish Creek Pond, canoeing, and anything that led him to the great outdoors. Most of all, Fred loved the Lord and his family.
He was preceded in death by his children Amy and Aaron Nowicki.
Fred is survived by his wife Louise, children: Steven (Kathi) Nowicki, Lisa (Mark) Perks, Christine (Bill) Partain, Cheryl (Dave) Layshock, Karen (Patrick) McDaniel and Sarah Nowicki. In addition to his children, Fred is also survived by his grandchildren: Mikaela, Katelyn, Natalie, Alex, Sam, Elizabeth, Logan, Frederick, June, Desmond, Rosalie, Josephine, great-grandchild Cecilia, and sister Cynthia (Gary) Snyder.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm, Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, OH with Pastor Don Morris officiating. The family will receive friends two hours before the service from 11 am -1 pm. Interment with military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery,
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City Mission and Laura's House, 5310 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103.
