Upon his return to the states, he joined Charles Bassett and Associates Engineering and Survey Company. There he survived in Jacksonville, Florida, and the surrounding areas, including Amelia Island. He continued his career at Duval First Corp. as land acquisition and project manager for several DRIs including developments of residential and commercial. From Jacksonville to Pensacola and Lake County, Florida.
He joined the State of Florida as Land Acquisition purchasing land through the Preservation 2000 Program where he received many awards. Returning to private real estate with Turner Heritage as VP Land Acquisition, Land Development and Sales Manager in Tallahassee and Emerald Coast offices. He enjoyed over 50 diverse years in real estate.
