Mr. Smith... what sad news to discover when I tried to call to wish you a happy birthday. My heart goes out to your family. I will always cherish our time together years and years ago at Coca-Cola. It made me feel special that you continued to care about me and check in from time to time after you retired. You always ended every call with "I love you." I love you too, Mr. Smith...

My condolences go out to his four sisters, all of whom are still living and suffering from this loss: Sandra, Brenda, MaryJo, and Sharon. I look back fondly on my summers spent swimming at Uncle Bubba's. RIP
