Freda Joan Lynn, 93, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Douglas, Wyoming. She was born on April 11, 1932, in Alliance, Nebraska, to Frank Seidler and Melinda (Cooper) Seidler. Freda was one of five sisters, growing up surrounded by family and the values of hard work, loyalty, and care for others that would define her life. On April 3, 1961, Freda married the love of her life, Marky Lynn, in Gillette, Wyoming. Their marriage spanned nearly 50 years, filled with partnership, devotion, and shared adventures, until Marky’s passing. Together, they built a life centered on family, perseverance, and love. Freda devoted herself to raising her three sons while also cleaning houses for others, always willing to work hard to provide and care for her family. During the winters, she was right alongside her boys as they raised feeder calves, offering steady support and a helping hand whenever it was needed. After Marky retired, the two enjoyed spending their winters as snowbirds in Southern California, a time they cherished together. Freda will be remembered for her quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to her family. She is survived by her three sons, Frank (Melinda) Fritzler, Danny (Judy) Fritzler, and Marky W. Lynn; her sister, Joyce; along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marky Lynn, and her parents, sisters, and granddaughter, Dawn Fritzler. Freda’s legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and steady presence.
