Frederick C. Comstock

Frederick Clyde Comstock, 62, of Williamstown, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24 2022 with his children by his side.
Fred was born the youngest of 15 children to Virginia and Alton Comstock on August 26, 1959. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. He is survived by his daughter Cristy Goff of Bristow, VA and son Casey Comstock (Tammy) of Williamstown, NY, four grandsons, Liston and Vincent Goff and Freddie and Lucas Comstock, sisters Alice Trumble (Bernie), Bev Ripka, Audrey Trumble, Jenny Dillenbough, brothers Jon, Jo and Tim Wiggins and spouses along with several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Fred was a 1977 graduate of APW High School. He worked at Camden Wire for ten years before moving to Gaithersburg, MD where he took a job working for Lane Construction, first as a foreman and later promoted to assistant superintendent. After 20 years with Lane Construction. Fred moved back home to Williamstown where he worked for Liberty Fuels and spent time with family.
Fred loved to fish and hunt with his best friend from childhood, Jeff Eldred. Fred was especially proud of having his first grandson named after him, Frederick Clyde Comstock. Fred enjoyed family time and looked forward to Sunday dinner at his son's house. His request was always either Shepard's pie or chicken fried steak.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 29th, from 4-6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden.
