Frederick R. Criscuolo III, age 81, of Wallingford passed away on June 22, 2025. He was born in New Haven, the son of the late Frederick and Diane (Petrillo) Criscuolo Jr. Fred is survived by his children, Gina (John) Welsh of Wallingford and Raymond Criscuolo of Oxford, his nine grandchildren, Kaitlyn Welsh, Meghan Welsh, Drake Minore, Samantha Valentin, John Welsh, Madden Criscuolo, Barron Criscuolo, Duke Criscuolo and Cooper Criscuolo, one great grandchild Jakai Valentin, his sisters Linda (Richard) Brandi and Barbara (Richard) DePino of East Haven, and many nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his former wife Helen Brija Criscuolo and by his son Frederick Criscuolo IV.
Prior to his retirement, Fred worked as a foreman and welder at TFI and most recently as a driver for Hunters Ambulance Transportation Service. Throughout his life he was a small business owner, including a butcher shop, a video store, insurance sales, and others. He was a hard worker, but he also enjoyed hosting family picnics and loved to travel. Fred was a very sociable man who enjoyed having company, enjoyed cooking food, dining with friends and family, playing cards and engaging in good conversation. In his later years he was a fan of games, sports, and movies, and he kept up with the news.
Frederick's family will receive relatives and friends at the Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St. Yalesville, on Saturday June 28, from 11am – 1pm. Interment will be private. To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at www.wallingfordfh.com
