Crum, Frederick L., 82, Kistler, passed away on Sunday August 3, 2025, at Penn Highlands Hospital Huntingdon. Born January 8, 1943, Kistler, son of the late Frederick H. and Geraldine (Banks) Crum. Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Kay (Rosensteel) Crum. Survived by his daughter, Jennifer Wilson and husband, Nate; siblings, Anita Mort; David Crum and wife, Jeanie; Charles Crum and wife, Donna; and Nancy Crum and husband, Michael; special nephew, Donald Rosensteel; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Rosensteel. Fred was a graduate of Captain Jack High School. After school he honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was employed at the Harvison Walker Brick Yard in Mount Union for many years. He later retired as a corrections officer at SCI Smithfield. Fred enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, watching movies, exercising, and golf. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Country Club where he golfed. Family and friends will be received on Friday August 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, Adam Shawver, officiant. Interment to follow at Atkinson Mills Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
