Frederick Hamilton Obituary
Interment will be private.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, 2026, beginning at 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
Frederick was born on October 24, 1946, in Lafayette, LA to Mr. Earl Anthony Hamilton, Sr. and Olivia Mae Livings Hamilton.
He attended school in Iberia Parish. Once he returned home, he joined Star Pilgrim Baptist Church, where he served as a drummer and singer until life changes took place.
After a lengthy illness and battle with cancer, a wonderful change of life took place on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was dispatched to get on the first flight to the land of no more.
Frederick was preceded in death by his parents; one great-granddaughter, Caayah Lewis; two brothers, Earl Anthony Hamilton, Jr. and Louis Hamilton, Sr. and one sister, Deidra Hamilton.
He leaves to continue his legacy of life, one daughter, Catherine "Tiney-Boo" Bennett of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Courtney (Chalyn) Lewis, Cendrick (Brynesha) Prince and Cequindra Prince (Calvin); six great-grandchildren, Kamryn Lewis, Taliyah Lewis, Chalia Channette, Caylin Lewis, Ke'Arri Prince and Kha'Lysa Prince; three-great-great-grandchildren; Kinslii Lewis, Acelynn Ried and Kayleigh Johnson; a special devoted friend, Marlene Alfred of Dallas, TX ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
