Frederick Kingston Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home & Crematory - Treasure Coast Chapel on Mar. 28, 2024.
Fred Kingston, born on October 25, 1946, departed this world on March 27, 2024. He was a devoted husband, beloved father, loving grandfather and a cherished friend to many.
A man of honor, love, and courage. His life was woven with threads of family, service and unwavering dedication.
Fred's heart overflowed with love for his family. His wife Mary, a steadfast partner, stood by his side through thick and thin. Together they weathered life's storms, creating a haven of warmth and laughter.
Fred's legacy lives on through his three sons, Brock, David and Eric. Each carries a piece of him with them. Their laughter echoing his, their dreams fueled by his encouragement.
His three granddaughters, Sophia, Charlotte and Julia, brought color to his world. They adored their Grandpa and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Fred's past held chapters of valor. As a Marine, he served in Vietnam. He fought not only for his country but for the buddies beside him. The scars he carried were both visible and hidden, etched into his soul.
Fred Kingston, to all who knew and loved him, one of a kind.
Today we bid farewell to Fred. Husband, father, grandfather, Marine and friend.
Semper Fidelis, Fred Kingston. May your spirit soar among the stars, forever free.

I first "met" Fred on Woodnet due to our shared woodworking hobby over twenty years ago.

The number of people Fred has helped over the years will never be known because much of it was one-on-one behind the scenes, whether helping an older gent recover files he thought were lost from a disk drive, helping a younger person with tax/inheritance issues, or sharing tips on a recipe. Fred was always there.

Fred was proud of his family, his dogs, his Marine Corps and his country.

I am proud to say he was my friend.

I knew Fred from playing an online word game for the last few years and got to know him as a wonderful photographer. He was always kind and shared his wisdom with others. Me and all his Wordscapes teammates at Just Friends will miss him very much. I hope there are Nikons where you are, Fred!
