He was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 21, 1951, and worked as diesel mechanic until retirement. He loved watching his boys grow up, fishing for walleye on Saginaw Bay, cooking for everyone (especially his sons' HS teams for pregame tacos), playing euchre at Riverbend with friends, reading western novels, "hunting" at deer camp and adventures with Jean.
Fred is survived by his sons, Robert (Jennifer Dennis) Kurrle, Lucas (Jamie) Kurrle and James Kurrle; grandchildren, Lily, Mallory, Lucy, Prescott and Roman; brother, Robert (Debbie) Kurrle; sister, Donna (Jerry) Lemunyon; loving companion, Jean Tejkl. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Fern (Amos) Kurrle.
