Jon enjoyed riding motorcycles, bowling, working in his yard and hunting. His greatest joy was his yearly deer hunting trip up to Thompsonville, MI, which he considered "God's Country" with his favorite hunting companions Bob & David Kebler and his daughters Renee' and Rachel. Dad's favorite saying was "Daylight in the Swamp."
