Fred helped me so much throughout my recovery. Before I came to Brooke, I was scared, hopeless, and my life was falling apart. Almost 2 years later I am married, with my own home, and my first child is on the way. This would categorically not have happened without the impact Fred made on my life.
I am so grateful to have been with Brooke, and to have met Fred when I did. His approach to recovery was full of humour, stories, and tough love. He made everyone feel welcome and as someone with quite a bit of anxiety about starting the process, this was key to my success.
Although passed on, Fred will continue to help me for the rest of my life - our conversations and his teachings will be my lighthouse to maintain my sobriety as I continue to grow. Not many people put as much good back into the world as Fred did - I hope to help someone half as much as Fred helped me before my time is up too. My condolences to his friends and family - please know that his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of many, and that although gone he will certainly never be forgotten.

You were a great inspiration for me and helped me find hope and a laugh when things were really not great for me. Fred, you've helped me get my life back on track and inspire me to do better. You will be missed!

Fred was the most wonderful and kind man. Like so many, he helped me personally in my recovery and will be remembered throughout my life. He was grateful in sharing his knowledge and passing it to all those who listened. Thank God, I listened. I will love and cherish all the time I got to experience with you and learn from you. God bless you and your daughter, Grace, and your wife Lisa.

I am grateful for the time I got to spend with you. What a powerful positive message you left for all of us. I say let's carry the message of recovery like Fred would want us to. I know dear friend said to me. That he could not fill your shoes. But I say let's at least try. You are so loved Fred. As long as you are remembered, you are not gone.
