Frederick Timmons Jr.

EASTON------Frederick D. Timmons Jr. 85, a resident of Easton for the past 28 years, died Friday evening, October 22, 2010 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Delle W. (Watson) Timmons. Born in Columbia, South Carolina on October 8, 1925, a son of the late Frederick D. and Rhoda (Lee) Timmons, he was raised and educated in Louisiana and was a graduate of Tuskegee University with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Engineering. Frederick was employed as a research chemist for Cytec for many years. He was a member of the American Chemical Society and the Omega Psi Phi Association. An avid bird watcher, he enjoyed played playing chess and Bridge. He is survived by two children, Frederick D. Timmons III of Easton, and Lili W. Timmons of Easton; a brother, William Timmons; he was also the brother of the late Richard Timmons and Rhoda E. Porter. Funeral services are private.
