Frederick Sweeting Todd III, 84, of Stamford, CT, passed away on January 23, 2025, after a period of declining health. Born in Rochester, NY on April 2, 1940, to Nancy Reyna Todd and Frederick Sweeting Todd II.
Fred was a devoted father to Jenna, Chris, and Jessica, and a loving grandfather to Zionna, Ava, Jonas, Sebastian, and Maddox. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Melissa, and his siblings, James Royce, David Royce, and Johnny Royce. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Lowden.
He enjoyed a career as a skilled painter for over 40 years. After retiring, he dedicated his time to serving as a crossing guard, ensuring the safety of children with his friendly demeanor. He was also a long-standing member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.)
Mr. Todd will be remembered for his warm personality, infectious laugh and his love for his family.
Freddy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2:00pm at The Stamford Eagles Club, 688 Main Street, Stamford, CT 06091
