Norma Todd Obituary

Norma Lee Todd, 86, of Middletown, Indiana, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on the evening of Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Rawlins House in Pendleton.
She was born on June 21, 1939, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to the late Samuel N. and Ricie D. (Powell) Gibson.
On April 2, 1957, Norma married the love of her life, Samuel Todd, and together they shared 63 beautiful years of marriage until his passing in 2020. Their life together was filled with laughter, hard work, and the deep joy of family and faith.
Norma worked for many years as a CNA at Community Hospital in Anderson, where she cared for others with a kind heart and a ready smile. She had a gift for making people feel seen and loved-her warmth, humor, and lively spirit brightened every room she entered.
A social butterfly with a strong will and a generous heart, Norma lived life to the fullest. She loved her and Samuel's peaceful hobby farm in the country, where she tended to her flower gardens and animals with joy. Norma especially loved her dogs, horses, cooking, and time spent in Bible study. But nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She and Samuel were devoted members of White Union Christian Church in Middletown, where their faith and friendships meant so much to them.
Those who will forever cherish Norma's memory include her daughter, Vicki (Randy) McQueen of Charlottesville; her son, Curt (Kim) Todd of Pendleton; six beloved grandchildren, Sam, Sarah, and Susan McQueen, and Mitchell, Matthew, and Mason Todd; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Huff of Anderson, Wanda Brown of Kentucky, and Barbara Gibson of Tennessee; and several dear nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; and siblings, Mary Dame, Doug Gibson, Nick Gibson, Bill Gibson, Betty Jean Agostino, and twins Pansy and Helen Gibson.
A celebration of Norma's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Sproles Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Gordon Barrett officiating.
Friends and loved ones are invited to gather from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
The service and visitation will be live-streamed. You may watch starting at noon by [Clicking Here].
