Pauline Todd Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 5, 2025.
Paula Yvonne Todd, 83, of Springfield, MA, formerly of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at Chestnut Hill in East Longmeadow.
Born in Pittsfield on December 29, 1941, to Francis and May (Hamilton) Dillard, Paula was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She married the love of her life, Timothy Peter Todd, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage before his passing on March 12, 2025. Together they built a life grounded in faith, kindness, and laughter.
Paula was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she found deep spiritual meaning and lived by the Bible's comforting promises. She drew great strength from her faith in Jehovah and the hope of the resurrection, looking forward to the time when "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." - John 5:28, 29.
Those who knew Paula will remember her bright spirit and the little things that brought her joy. She loved the color blue, collecting porcelain dolls, and beautifully adorned herself with sparkling jewelry, especially pieces chosen by her devoted husband. She enjoyed Perry Mason and lighthearted movies that made her laugh. Her homemade apple cobbler, always served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, remains a cherished family tradition.
Paula lived much of her life in Pittsfield and also spent time in New York before moving to Springfield to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She delighted in her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and the love she gave will be fondly remembered.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Fuss and her husband Brian, and Lisa Quinn and her husband Brett; eight cherished grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter who brought her such joy. She also leaves behind her sister, Julie Dillard.
Paula was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Haggerty, in 2021. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Pauline, please visit our floral store.
