Fredeva Broome Poole, age 91 of Danielsville, formerly of the Habersham Mills Community, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 14, 2024 following an extended illness.
The daughter of the late Henry Hershel and Josephine Edge Broome, she was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stark Deaton, and second husband, Jack Otis Poole, as well as her sons, Stark Deaton Jr, Dwayne Fred Denton, Jacky Garnett Poole; brothers, Marion and Alford Broome; and sisters, Hazel Hill and Ethel Purdy.
Survivors include her sons: Michael Deaton (Tammy), of Watkinsville, and Donald Poole, of Danielsville. Daughter, Dianne Poole Dockery (James), of Danielsville; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 from the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Revs. Adam Deaton and Carlton Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Clarkesville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until funeral time on Friday, October 18, 2024.
