I met Fred at the YMCA back in 2021 and right away Fred and I clicked. We would give each other a hard time but also had some good conversations. I loved having Fred in my classes and our talks. We had a special relationship, and I will miss him so much. Classes won't be the same without Fred there. Every time we do a squat or use the Bosu, we all will think of him. I'm very sorry for your loss and please know Fred was loved by so many!!

I met Fred when I started going to exercise class at the Y. We would chat about fitness and general small talk. We became workout buddies and would share a laugh every now and then as we had our workout spots next to each other. I was amazed at the shape he was in for his age and I never would have guessed that he was 80. He was a favorite of the instructor as well, and she would joke with him a lot. He nicknamed me "iron hands" after I told him I was a body builder long ago. I just found out today about his passing and was very sad to hear. He was a great guy and will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
