Fredrick "Little Freddie" Rhodes, Jr.

Mr. Fredrick “Little Freddie” Deleon Rhodes, Jr., passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at his home in Tignall, Georgia. He was born on June 25, 1964, in Washington and was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County.

Little Freddie was a graduate of WWCHS Class of 1982 and furthered his education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. From the age of 16, he began driving a wrecker for his father's business, a job that ignited his lifelong passion for automobiles.

His love for working on cars was a pastime he cherished deeply. Little Freddie could often be found under the hood of a car alongside his father. His enthusiasm extended to pull trucks, where he and his friends would spend countless hours working on their vehicles and engaging in friendly competition to see who could drive the fastest.

Little Freddie is survived by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Fredrick Deleon Rhodes, Sr.; sons, Presley Cole Rhodes and Shelby Glenn Rhodes both of Moscow Mills, Missouri; sister, Colleen Rhodes Brown (Tim) of Elberton; niece, Jenny Brown Strother (Rob); nephew, Buddy Brown, and great-niece Sophia Reville, all of Washington.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at 11:00 am at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington.
