Fredrick Allan Smith

Mr. Fredrick Allan (Riki) Smith of Wilmington, NC was born on January 8, 1976 in South Carolina, and passed away on March 2, 2023, completing his journey of 47 years.
Riki was a dedicated servant at Lifepoint Church where he served on the usher team. He worked hard at his company installing hardwood flooring until his illness forced him to stop working. Words to describe Riki would include servant, family man, and a hard worker, but most of all he loved his family. Riki will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of many years Celina Smith of the home, children; La'Kie Smith of Hinesville, GA, Fredrick (Abbigail) "Riki" Smith, Jr. of Norfolk, VA, Angel (Denzil) Pollard of Wilmington, NC, Samantha Smith of Wilmington, NC, Tyrease Smith of Wilmington, NC, grandchildren; Denzil,and Ada Pollard of Wilmington, NC, mother; Paris Ann Wells of Mayesville, SC, brothers; Johnny Lee Wells, Jr. of Mayesville, SC, David (Jewel) Moses of Columbia, SC, sister; Loretta (Calvin) Mathis of Dalzell, SC, cousin/sister; Octavia Wheeler, 8 Nieces, 5 nephews, and several cousins and aunts who were raised with him like siblings.
He is preceded in death by his father Harry Eady; his grandmothers; Susie Mae Smith, Mary Lou Eady, grandfathers; Willie James Smith, John Eady, stepfather; Johnnie "Boot" Wells, Sr., great aunt and second mother; Martha "Gramps" Wheeler, and a host of beloved aunts and great uncles.
A time of visitation will be held at 5:00PM till 6:00PM with a celebration of life to begin at 6:00PM, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Lifepoint Church.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Riki's name.
