It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Frieda Ann Becca on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on April 25, 1941, in Blanchard, Michigan, to the late Frederick and Rose (Kimbell) Haight, Frieda was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Frieda leaves behind her children: Joseph (Dawn) Biskner, Michael Biskner, Charles (Sandra) Biskner, Barbara Newcomb, and Lori Hoffman-Mullins. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sister Viola Elwood, numerous nieces and nephews. Frieda was predeceased by her husband Oliver Bacca, her first husband Clifford Biskner, her daughter Cynthia, her son Daniel, five grandchildren: Nicole, LaRhonda, Isaak, Joshua, and Zachary and a brother Larry Haight.
A devoted woman of faith, Frieda dedicated her life to God, her family, and her friends. Her kindness and love were felt by all who knew her. She had a passion for collecting Betty Boop memorabilia and enjoyed gardening and caring for her plants. Frieda was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the true spirit of generosity and compassion.
Frieda's warmth and love for her family and friends were unparalleled. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those whose lives she touched.
The Funeral Service for Frieda will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Bay Valley Christian Church, 2535 Wilder Road, Bay City, MI 48706. Pastor Dave Ferranti will officiate. Family and friends will gather at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial donations to the Humane Society of Bay County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
