Gabriel Forte Obituary

Upon his return home Gabriel joined the workforce with Baldwin's Locomotive in Eddystone, then with Peco working there until his retirement in 1990. Gabriel was active in the community, helping to coach Aston AA Basketball and Softball. In his free time, Gabriel enjoyed taking fishing trips with his son and close friends to Canada and Virginia, and surf fishing at Cape Henlopen in Delaware. He also enjoyed going on cruises and traveling in general. Gabriel was an avid golfer and Phillies fan and a member of the Sons of Italy. Uncle "Sonny" was loved by his extended family for his bright disposition and colorful storytelling.
He was the son of the late Giacomo Forte and Yolanda DiDominicantonio, and brother of the late Ida Bruni, Thomas Forte, and Helen Episcopo.
Survivors: His Children: Karen Forte, Linda Ashbee (Dan), Sandra Lupton (John), Deborah Forte, and Steven Forte (Helene). Grandson: Giacomo George Forte. His best Friend: Eddie Wresneski as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 26, 2025 10:00am-11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Liturgy: Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: St. Michael Cemetery, 1811 Edgemont Ave, Chester, PA, 19013. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made in Gabriel's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
