Gabriel Ramirez, age 72 of Morrisville, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at his home in Morrisville. Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Gabriel lived in Piscataway, NJ over 20 years, Jackson, NJ for 13 years, and Pennsburg, PA for 3 years before moving to Morrisville 2 years ago.
He had been employed as an electrician with Ciba Geigy Pharmaceutical in Summit, NJ over 20 years before going to Merck Pharmaceuticals in Rahway, NJ for over 20 years. Gabriel was an avid football fan, with his favorite team being the Cincinnati Bengals. He was always watching the news and keeping up with current events. Gabriel also loved to cook, and was famous for his excellent paella dish. Additionally, he was an avid gardener, raising herbs and tomato plants.
Son of the late Carmelo and Epifania (Medero) Ramirez he is survived by his wife Ruth (Schwartz) Ramirez, a son and daughter-in-law Juan Gabriel and Jeannette Ramirez of Morrisville, a daughter Kelly Ramirez of Middlesex, NJ, three brothers and two sisters-in-law Carmelo and Nan Ramirez of Clearwater, FL, Angel Ramirez of Jim Thorpe, PA and Edwin and Patricia Ramirez of Edison, NJ, a sister and brother-in-law Judith and Tello Camacho of Deltona, FL, three grandchildren Javier Omar Moreno, Alexia Liana Ramirez and Jazmine Shyann Ramirez and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, January 24, 2023 from 12-1 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. A celebration of Gabriel’s life will take place at 1 PM.
