Gabriel Velasquez was born on June 4,1989 in Hereford, TX to Ruben & Dora Velasquez. He passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025 in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 35. Gabriel moved from Dimmitt, TX to Colorado Springs, CO as a young child, where he was raised. After graduating from Harrison High School, Gabriel started his career at Costco, through years of dedication & hard work he worked his way up to a Tire Technician. Gabriel loved being outdoors; fishing & camping was where he was his happiest. His favorite fishing spot was at Rampart Reservoir, where he would sit for hours enjoying the peaceful scenery with his loved ones. After a long day fishing, he would often go shooting in the national forest. Gabriel was married to Tiffany Velasquez on August 31,2018 in Green Mountain Falls, CO where he also became the best stepfather to Elyse and Lilly Lippoldt who loved him dearly. Gabriel stepped up & raised them like his own. He enjoyed helping Lilly with schoolwork, teaching her how to fish and cheer on the Dallas Cowboys. Lilly quickly became his mini me doing everything he would do. Gabriel was always willing to help people in need & he will be deeply missed by so many. Gabriel is survived by his parents Ruben & Dora, brother Michael & his wife Cigdem, sister Melissa & her husband Ruben, his brother Isaac, niece Polen, nephews Brandon, Kayden & Gavin. wife Tiffany, stepdaughters Elyse & Lilly & his beloved fur boys Pepe & Sylvester.
