It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gaige Edward King, beloved son, brother, grandson and friend. Gaige was born on July 20, 2004, in Austell, GA, and passed away October, 24, 2024.
A 2022 graduate of South Paulding High School, Gaige not only excelled academically but was a talented pitcher for the baseball team. He was currently furthering his education online at LSU, majoring in Construction Management while working with Southerland Installations as a fire alarm technician. Gaige enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as hunting, fishing, playing golf, shooting his bow, taking a ride on his motorcycle with his boys, the game of baseball and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Gaige's infectious smile and loving personality was cherished by his family, including his parents Kenny and Khrish King, loving sister Gracie King, and devoted brother Grant King. He was also adored by his paternal grandmother Susan Willis, paternal grandfather Kenneth King, Sr., maternal grandparents John & Jo Hunsucker, and paternal great-grandmother Polly King. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
Although his time on earth was short, Gaige will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
In honor of Gaige's memory, funeral services will be held at Villa Rica First Baptist on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm with him lying in state beginning at 1pm. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, where friends and family can pay their respects.
Gaige will be laid to rest in a final farewell by his loved ones immediately after the service on Thursday at Melrose Cemetery in Villa Rica. His loss will be deeply felt, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
Clark Funeral Home is entrusted with the services for Mr. Gaige Edward King.
