Gail Cantoni

A much- loved wife, mother, nana, sister and friend, Gail Cantoni 80, of Kingston passed away suddenly on October 18th, at Beth Israel hospital Plymouth. Daughter of the late Russell and Alice Smith of Abington. Gail was preceded in death by her sisters Alice Smith and Janet Burns both of Abington.
She worked as a medical record clerk at South Shore Medical Center for over 20 years where she made many wonderful friends.
She is survived by her husband Gerald of fifty nine years. Daughters Karin Cantoni Hill and Sandra Smith both of Kingston and Son in law William Hill.Her four grandchildren whom they called Nana, Colby and Bryce Hill of Kingston, Matthew Smith of Rhode Island, Nicholas Smith of New Jersey and great grandson Giovanni. She played a big role in their upbringing and loved being Nana. She will be missed by many including many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also leaves behind her besties Mary Zielinski and Irene Sands in which they shared and made many memories.
Relatives and friends invited her visitation from 2-4 pm, Sunday October 26th, with a service immediately
following at 4 PM. All services are at Blanchard Funeral Chapel 666 Plymouth St Whitman MA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society or of one's choice.
