Gail Garner Obituary
Gail Epps Garner, age 75, of Seagrove, passed away on May 12, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Born on April 15, 1950, in Montgomery County to Colon and Elgie Blake Epps. Gail was a graduate of East Montgomery High School, class of 1968. She dedicated 29 years of her career to Clayson’s Knitting. Gail had a passion for canning and enjoyed spending her time fishing, as well as going to church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Elaine Wilson, Thelma Batten, Marie Hogan and brother Don Epps.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Doug Garner of the home; daughter Stephanie Cagle (Larry) of Seagrove and brother Roger Epps (Patricia) of Robbins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Guiding Light Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Mark Medlin officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
