Gail A. Gaustad, age 85 of Forest Lake formerly of Lindstrom passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Gail was born on May 25, 1940 in St. Paul to parents, John and Mary (Swanson) Stickney. She worked as a sales clerk at Skinners Clothing in Lindstrom for many years and retired from her job at Target in Forest Lake. She met Allen "Denny" Gaustad and were married for 65 years. She and Denny had many good years together, spending winters in South Padre Island, Texas where they made many friends.
Gail is preceded in death by her son, Michael. She is survived by her husband Denny; her loving grandchildren, Marilyn, Grace and Gabe Gaustad and their mother, Sarah and Claire Gaustad and her mother, Karen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who made her life easier.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Panola Cemetery next to her son, Michael.
