Mrs. Gail Humbert, daughter of the late Mr. Hezzie and Mrs. Pauline McCoy was born August 25, 1947.
Gail’s life came to an end after an illness on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Gail was educated in the Public Schools System of Florence County.
Gail was a dedicated employee of Florence Morning Newsin Florence, South Carolina for many years.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Humbert; her parents, Mr. Hezzie and Mrs. Pauline SuttonMcCoy; three sisters, Doris Graham, Loretta McCoy, and Mary Goodman; three brothers, Clarence McCoy, Calvin McCoy, and Bishop James Edward McCoy; a niece, NadineGoodman; and a nephew, Clarence Eaddy.
Left to cherish loving memories of Mrs. Gail Humbert are: three sons, Donald McCoy of Florence, South Carolina, Kenya McCoy of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carlos McCoy of Florence, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Alexis McCoy of Florence, SouthCarolina; one grandson, Kavel McCoy of Florence, South Carolina; three sisters, Maggie McCoy and Diane (Franklin) Ellis both of Florence, South Carolina, and Pearline (Chaney) Jones of Rochester,New York; three brothers, Elder Norman (Shirley) McCoy, William (Camille) McCoy, and Johnnie Lee (Loretta)McCoy all of Florence, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Margaret McCoy and Pastor Fannie McCoy both of Florence, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
