Gail Lorraine Tsiatsos, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, at the age of 75.
Born on September 18, 1949, Gail was the daughter of the late Ted and Mildred Alexanderowicz. She grew up in Mohawk, New York, where she spent most of her life, later retiring to Florida and embracing the easygoing "flip flop lifestyle" she came to love.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Angelos Tsiatsos, who passed earlier this year. She is survived by her children: Ed Wells-Tsiatsos (Julie), Lisa Wilson (Cody), Jeff Alexanderowicz (Lacy), and Paul Meyer (Sveta); her grandchildren: Cole Wilson, Kayleigh Marosek & Ethan Riesel, and Brian & Jacob Alcorta; and five cherished great-grandchildren who brought her endless pride and joy. She also leaves behind her brothers, Ted Alexander (Loree) and John Alexanderowicz (Debbie).
A woman of many passions, Gail was known for her vibrant spirit, deep love of family, and joyful expression through belly dancing. Her warmth and humor lit up every room she entered. Above all else, she treasured time with her loved ones and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
Gail was a faithful member of the Greek Orthodox Church, carrying her beliefs with quiet strength and grace throughout her life.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Orthodox Church, 375 Fleming Avenue, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. She will be laid to rest at Volusia Memorial Cemetery, 550 N Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will also be held at Seashore Senior Living Center, where Gail spent her final months surrounded by care, dignity, and community. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to:
